This weekend Carnarvon Speedway travels to Hi-Tec Oils Toowoomba Speedway to support home town drivers WA1 Damon Lyall and W55 Jace Kempton who are competing in the Engage Ag Speedway Sedans Australia National Street Stock Title. The 375m track delivers high banks and an infield wall which is likely to keep the boys on their toes as they tussle with 100 other drivers in a bid to be AUS 1.A huge effort to get to Toowoomba has been put in by the boys and their teams who have basically had to cover the widest part of Australia just to get there a massive 5000kms one way. After everyone defrosted yesterday from freezing temperatures overnight, Practice yesterday saw Damon finish in position 20 and Jace in position 22 respectively. Which puts them in good company for Saturday and Sundays Racing. They will race in 4 heats each and depending on how it all goes there will be a C Main, B Main and A Main. The grid draws/stating positions for the heats are as follows.SaturdayDamon, Heat 7: 8 Heat 14: 5 Heat 24: 1 Jace, Heat 4: 4 Heat 16: 3 Heat 22:10Sunday Damon, Heat 30: 10Jace, Heat 29: 7If you are interested in tuning in to the live stream the only place you can find it is at clayperview.com where they will have 7 cameras and commentary for both days. However, for a cheaper option you can keep up to date with live timing by checking out the Speedhive or Race Monitor apps. The action kicks off Today at 12pm AWST and Sunday 12pm AWSTWe wish the boys and their teams the best of luck for the weekend and hope you will join us in supporting and cheering them on, aswell as all the other WA drivers that have made the trek to contest the title. We will do our best to post some updates in this post. In the mean time check out some action from yesterdays practice thanks to the Ash Media Team at this link fb.watch/dzC9prFPUC/ ...
